A leading supplier of building supplies is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join their team in Yonkers, New York! You will be responsible for managing daily deliveries, prioritizing and dispatching schedules, and managing personnel while ensuring the fleet is maintained and laws are followed.
You must be available to work up to 50 hours each week. Due to the amount of hours you are eligible for a bonus plan based on your performance!!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage team of drivers and ensure safe operations yet accurate, on time deliveries
- Must complete daily master logbook and required paperwork in a neat order (paperwork will be sent directly to finance for review)
- Schedule staff so shifts don’t overlap, be proactive to identify issues before they happen
- Be a team player with a “door is always open attitude”
- Train and motivate staff
- Should have basic knowledge of building materials
- CDL a big plus!
- Must know Microsoft Office Suite
