A nationwide manufacturing leader is seeking an experienced Inventory / Receiving Clerk to join our team. In addition to hourly pay we offer a monthly incentive for team performance.
Responsibilities:
- Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
- Unload packages from incoming trucks
- Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
- Verify packages/contents according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
- Notify manager of discrepancies and assist in resolution
- Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements
- Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
- Perform stock/cycle counts
- Operate industrial handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, order picker, etc.)
- Repack/rework/label inventory as needed
- Maintain socking locations (cleanliness, organization, packaging, etc.)
- Other inventory related tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Proven experience as receiving clerk or similar position
- Experience in operating forklifts
- Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
- Basic math and recording abilities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Great communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail
- Comfortable working on feet for extended periods of time
- Comfortable/able to lift 50lbs
- High school diploma
- Reliable transportation
- Able to work OT as needed
