Our client, a global manufacturer of aerospace equipment, is seeking experienced CNC Machine Setup Operators to come join their growing team in Passaic. The primary function of this role will be to program, setup, and operate CNC equipment to help fabricate proprietary aerospace equipment.
You will be operating CNC Milling or CNC Lathe Machinery in our factory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently load programs as needed, set work and tool offsets
- Ability to read blueprints and operational plans – ensure parts are produced as designed
- Measure final product using micrometer and/or scale to ensure pieces are made to design specifications
- Manage machine operations – be alert for malfunctions and/or low-tolerance machines
- Communicate w supervisor throughout the day and alert immediately of any discrepancies in measurements
- Verify accurate finished products
- Work efficiently to achieve targeted goals
- Performs other duties as assigned, to maintain efficiency throughout the company
- Perform deburring as required
Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years CNC Milling or Lathe
- Have your own tools
- Ability to read part drawings
- Haas or Fanuc experience
- Clean, organized, and multi-task capability to operate multiple machines.
- Team player, open to new ideas and team work, self-motivated individual, willingness to continually strive to increase personal knowledge and value.
- Flexible, reliable, self-starting team player with ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Good communication skills.
- Willing to grow with the Company.
