A nationwide leader in trucking transportation is seeking an experienced Class A Lead Diesel Mechanic to join their growing terminal outside of Columbia, Maryland.
Our candidate of choice will be a First Shift Lead Mechanic and have a valid CDL A license.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- At least 8 years working on class 7-8 trucks
- Ability to detect and troubleshoot various components including but not limited to AC and Electrical
- Ability to work on your own
- Full set of tools for commercial engines and components
- 1 year of recent verifiable experience in van type trailer
- Will be responsible for ordering parts, assigning work, and keeping the shop running.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma
- DEF/Computer Experience
- Intermediate Welding Experience
- CDL A
- Ability to read manuals of various types of engines and components
- Ability to work independently
