Our client, a precision metals manufacturer, has an immediate need for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join their winning team in Lakewood.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
- Form sheet metal parts according to work order and drawing requirements.
- Set-up and operate press brake machines (Bystronic and Cincinnati machines is a plus)
- Inspect parts per customer blueprint.
- Ability to use hand tools and measuring tools(square, protractors, calipers, and radius gages)
- Experience with light gauge sheet metal a plus
- Knowledge to calculate bend allowances and choose correct tooling for desired bending requirements.
- Manage/organize tooling, setup, and program sheets.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Ability to show up to work on time.
- Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Thrive with continuous improvement .
- Will be required to temporarily move to other departments to meet customer demands.
- 3-5 yrs experience minimum.
