Our client, a nationwide manufacturer of commercial plastic products, has an immediate need for an experienced Thermoforming Setup Technician, to join their winning team in Pennsauken.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
- Full mold/tooling installs and line changeovers, independently
- Mold alignment, clamping, plug assist, trim tooling/press, rails/chains, web path
- Cold start to first-good-piece and stable production
- Heater zones, timing, vacuum/air, forming parameters after changeover
- Diagnose setup-caused sag, web tracking, heating, servo/drive faults
- Setup sheets, plus cutting changeover time and scrap
- Thin-gauge roll-fed PET/APET/rPET
