Our client, a previsions metals manufacturer and machine shop, has an immediate need for an experienced CNC Live Tooling Lathe Setup Operator, to join their winning team in Pittsburgh.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
- The CNC Live Tooling Lathe person needs to have about 5 years of experience setting up and running live tooling lathes.
- Knowledge of Y axis is a plus.
- Knowledge of Okuma lathes a very big plus!
- Must be able to edit programs at the machine. Main programming duties will be performed by the CNC programmer offline.
- A strong understanding of G and M codes is a must.
- A strong knowledge of turning and milling tooling is required.
- Ability to problem solve is a must.
