Our client, a precision metals manufacturer, has an immediate need for an experienced CNC Machinist, to join their winning team in Lakewood.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
- Set up and operate a CNC according to work order and drawing requirements.
- Fadal VMC experience is a plus but not necessary.
- Ability to write programs long hand (G,M coding) or with Cad/Cam software (specifically PowerStation). PowerStation Cad/Cam knowledge is not necessary and willing to train
- Keep up in a fast-paced environment with exceptional organizational skills.
- Inspect parts per customer blueprint.
- Manage/organize tooling, setup, and program sheets.
- Skilled in using of measuring instruments for Quality Control
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Ability to show up to work on time.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment .
- Thrive with continuous improvement .
- Will be required to temporarily move to other departments to meet customer demands.
- Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- 3-5 yrs experience minimum.
- Pay is negotiable based on experience.
