Our client, a previsions metals manufacturer and machine shop, has an immediate need for an experienced CNC Mill Setup Operator, to join their winning team in Pittsburgh.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
- You should have about 5 years of experience setting up and running Horizontal and Vertical Machining Centers. Knowledge of 4th axis is a plus.
- CNC Machine tools that they will used are Okuma, Mori Seiki, Kitamura, and Haas.
- Must be able to edit programs at the machine. Main programming duties will be performed by the CNC programmer off line.
- A strong understanding of G and M codes is a must.
- A strong knowledge of milling tooling is required.
- Ability to problem solve is a must.
- Must be able to convey work instructions to operators and work with them in a positive manner
