Our client, a nationwide leader in manufactured corrugated products, has an immediate need for an experienced Corrugated Supervisor – Manufacturing, to join their winning team in Middletown.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement and coordinate department safety education and processes in accordance with company best practices and policies.
- Achieve desired results in Quality by leading process reliability efforts to minimize waste within the department by driving awareness, training and accountability.
- Drive maximum throughput within the department by reducing down time and increasing uptimes and machine speeds.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years supervisor experience within the corrugated industry.
- Process knowledge a must regarding paper, starch, and heat relevant to producing corrugated sheets.
- Strong computer skills required due to equipment automation, process controls and internal operating systems.
- Demonstrate leadership within a group of employees as it relates to productivity, quality and safety.
- Working in a fast paced environment on a fully automated corrugator.
- Must possess a strong safety and operations background.
- Have process acumen, be results-driven and possess strong communications skills.
- He/she will have a previous background within the corrugated industry.
- High speed corrugator knowledge, Kiwi. and Fosber equipment knowledge a plus.
