Our client, a prestigious, nationwide, law firm dedicated to providing legal services to financial institutions, has an immediate need for an experienced Foreclosure Attorney – Remote, to join their winning team in Arizona.
Our candidate of choice will be responsible for handling pre-litigation and litigation issues/cases involving non-judicial foreclosure actions. Additionally, you will work with the firm’s foreclosure excess proceed team overseeing the excess proceeds and escheatment process for the firm’s western states.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with non-judicial foreclosure trustees in providing compliance and litigation advice.
- Resolving pre-litigation issues and any defensive litigation that may be necessary.
- Review/preparation of excess proceeds motions and review of claims.
- Other duties and special projects as needed.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a Juris Doctorate.
- Member of the AZ State Bar, while maintaining all necessary licensing. Admission to practice law in the state of Utah preferred but not required.
- At least one year of work experience in AZ real property law.
- Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to manage and prioritize large caseload
- Takes initiative in face of obstacles and identifies what needs to be done and takes action.
- Analytical and detail oriented, while working at a fast pace and capable of multi-tasking.
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills. Effectively communicates with all clients (via client systems, e-mail and phone)
- Must be a team player and willing to help others in their department whenever necessary.
- Develops professional relationships and builds rapport with others.
- Demonstrates commitment to Firm’s vision, mission, and core values.
- Overall good work ethic and willingness to adapt to change.
