Our client, a nationwide leader in plastics and materials manufacturing, has an immediate need for an experienced Industrial Electrician, to join their winning team in Portland.
Our candidate of choice will be able to work in a team setting, but will also feel confident enough to complete some smaller tasks independently. This position is “hands-on” and the individual should have a self-starter mindset.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
- 480V 3-phase electrical (prefer at least 2 years)
- Running conduit (prefer at least 2 years)
- Rigging and heavy equipment experience a plus
- Knowledge of pipe threading for air hydraulic and electrical piping
- Basic understanding of AC variable frequency drives of all sizes (ex. ABB, Fuji)
- Basic understanding of AC Soft start drives
- Understands lockout procedures and ARC flash protection/dangers
- Able to use scissor lifts, boom/aerial lifts, and forklifts
