Our client, a nationwide leader in aviation safety and flight performance systems, has an immediate need for an experienced Industrial Painter, to join our winning team in White Plains.
Our candidate of choice will be responsible for painting multi-angled electromechanical assemblies, printed circuit board conformal coating and various types of part marking.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cleaning, sanding and removing old paint from surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion.
- Paint mixing
- Accurately mixing paints and coatings according to specifications to achieve the desired color and consistency.
- Applying paint using various methods including brush, roller, and spray gun depending on the surface and project requirements.
- Inspecting painted surfaces for defects and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Adhering to safety protocols including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and working in well-ventilated areas.
- Understanding different painting types, their properties, and application methods.
- Attention to detail: Ability to achieve a consistent and high-quality finish.
- Problem-solving skills: Identifying and resolving issues during the painting process
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferred work experience in painting in an Aviation or Auto body environment.
