Our client, a leader in commercial plastics manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Inside Sales – Business Development, to join their winning team in Paramus.

Our candidate of choice will be responsible for driving sales of our product line through inside sales activities and occasional travel to meet with clients and attend industry events. You will bring a strong understanding of retail environments and the ability to effectively communicate the value of our display solutions to potential customers. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively generate leads and develop new business opportunities through phone calls, email, and online channels.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries and provide product information, quotes, and order processing support.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer data, and generate reports.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts.
  • Travel to client locations for face-to-face meetings, presentations, and account management (estimated travel 2-3 days per month).
  • Attend industry trade shows and conferences to network and generate leads.
  • Conduct on-site product assessments and provide customized solutions to clients.
  • Represent our organization professionally and maintain a positive company image.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our product line, including features, benefits, and applications.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive products.
  • Provide technical support and product training to customers as needed.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team on customer needs and market trends.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the retail or display industry.
  • Strong understanding of point of purchase (POP) displays and retail environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
