Our client, a commercial manufacturer of precision commercial products, has an immediate need for an experienced Janitor/Custodian, to join our winning team in Philadelphia.
Our candidate of choice will perform a variety of routine procedures to maintain various plant locations in a clean and orderly condition while following prescribed safety rules and compliance with OSHA regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
- Cleans all restrooms throughout the plant and stocks with necessary supplies – First priority
- Cleans all vending areas, break rooms and reception areas – Second priority
- Cleans and maintains perfect sanitary conditions in the First Aid Room
- Removes all trash from containers in production areas to the compactor
- Cleans stairways
- Cleans front office, lab and administrative offices on a rotating basis
- Performs grounds duties as directed
- Keeps necessary records (i.e., daily checklist, etc.)
- Maintains scheduled production volume
- Detects and reports improper operation, faulty equipment, inferior quality, and other
- Gives proper care to all equipment used
- Keeps work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition
- Follows prescribed safety rules and complies with OSHA regulations
- Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds
