Our client, a global steel manufacturer, has several openings for experienced Maintenance Mechanic, based in Portage, Indiana.
Our candidate of choice will have advanced industrial mechanical skills and the ability to work a rotating shift. We offer great benefits and tremendous room for growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain mechanical systems as required
- Trouble machines and mechanical equipment
- Trouble hydraulics and pneumatics
- Assist in capital projects and installations
- Ability to read blueprints
- Advanced hydraulic experience highly preferred
- Burning
- Welding
- Pneumatics
- Bearing
- Combustion
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3 years’ experience in industrial maintenance.
- Experience with welding
- Experience working in heavy industry
- Experience with conveyors and automated machinery
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts rotating from days to nights week to week.
