Our client, a nationwide leader in pharmaceutical manufacturing, has an immediate need for experienced Manufacturing Associate / Packaging Operator to join their growing team in Fairfield.
This is a first shift role with plenty of overtime available! Our candidate of choice will have knowledge and/or experience with blending, compression, and tablet handling.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment including: mixing/blending, operating, filling, cleaning, equipment.
- Verify raw materials being used are correct per batch documentation, and finished goods are packaged in specified container, and properly labeled per documentation.
- Store/transfer materials and supplies by hand, or with the assistance of a powered industrial lifter seated or standing forklift.
- Wear required personal protective equipment as appropriate at all times.
- Ensure equipment and work areas are kept clean and orderly.
- Follow instructions and perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisor/lead.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, process engineers, maintenance, and quality to ensure production output and quality standards are achieved.
- Follow instructions on production paperwork, and accurately document.
- Participate and complete company-required training program.
- Ability to stand for 10- hours at a time
- Observe all Environmental, Health and Safety standards set forth by the Company
- Able to lift 15 to 20 KG. and rollover up to 80 to 90KG.
- Able to read and write English to accurately follow directions and log results.
- Required to follow all cGMP regulations as outlined in training.
