Our client, a commercial manufacturer of precision commercial products, has an immediate need for an experienced Metal Fabricator, to join our winning team in Philadelphia.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- TIG welding of nonferrous alloys: brass, aluminum, etc. for furniture building.
- Provide assistance with manual machining & milling.
- Performing set-up and production operations on projects of a wide variety, while maintaining standards for safety & quality.
- Understanding and using PPE
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years’ experience in a production environment
- Proven track record with hand tools, power tools, and typical shop equipment (band saw, drill press, grinding/sanding machines, etc.)
- 3-5 years of MIG & TIG welding on steel required (16 gauge-quarter inch thickness)
- Highly advanced in interpreting blueprints and drawings.
- Consistent attention to detail; ensuring highest quality of finished products and minimal rework.
- Experience with furniture building, architectural elements, or mechanic work (or similar field) required.
