Our client, a nationwide sheet metal manufacturer and distributor, has an immediate need for an experienced Outside Sales/Business Development Representative, to join our winning team.

Our candidate of choice will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of accounts, as well as identifying and securing new business opportunities.  You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide solutions to meet those needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted partner and resource.
  • Understand client needs and objectives and provide customized solutions to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and product development, to support sales efforts.
  • Utilize internal systems to assist management and cross department collaboration.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Between 50%-80% out of area travel required.
