Our client, a nationwide manufacturer of commercial machinery, has an immediate need for an experienced Process Control Engineer, to join our winning team in Dallas.
Our candidate of choice will bring knowledge of Automation Controls and their application in the Food Processing Industry. You will develop Process Control solutions using traditional PLC and Model Predictive Controls.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Travel to customer sites around the globe.
- Provide install and system startup support of food processing equipment.
- Manage onsite repair, maintenance, and testing.
- Troubleshoot PLC based machinery operations.
- Use industrial electrical prints.
- Product testing and documentation.
- Lead customer trials, PDI’s and SAT’s.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Electrical engineer experience and able to travel up to 35%.
- Process Dynamics experience as it pertains to temperatures, time and product characteristics.
- Understand Process Disturbances, Mean, and Standard Deviation is a plus.
- Experience of programming PLC systems from scratch (RedLion, Allen Bradley & Siemens )
- Experience in a continuous process environment
- Evidence of creating Method Statements and Risk Assessments
- Experience with AutoCAD, SCADA or MES system is a plus.
- Understand Fluid and Temperature dynamics.
