Our client, a nationwide manufacturer of commercial machinery, has an immediate need for an experienced Production Planner to join our winning team in Galesburg.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Production Planner processes engineering releases and revisions BOM plots to other teams.
- Use SAP to convert planned orders into production orders.
- Expedite rush, spare parts, and warranty release orders
- Create and schedule routings
- Process labor Uploads for Kronos to SAP
- Process downloads of data form SAP to Kronos
- Maintain Production Order Operations/Activities in Kronos as needed
- Process and close out work orders
- Process production schedule for weekly meeting
- BOM Plotting of all Engineering Drawings for the Shop
- Other duties as assigned
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Two years data entry experience
- Understanding MRP concepts
- Understanding production planning process
- Understanding Bill of Material structure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Manufacturing environment background helpful
- Previous experience with manufacturing drawings helpful
