Our client, a precision metal fabrication shop, has an immediate need for an experienced Project Manager / Estimator, to join their winning team in Columbus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
- 3–5 years’ experience
- Required knowledge in CAD and can prepare and deliver estimates of time, money, materials, and labor needed for projects (his includes analyzing blueprints and specifications to determine the necessary resources)
- Will be going out on the field for customer site visits, customer luncheons, networking events, etc.
- May at times be making cold calls to new customers/clients in the area to develop business, but will mostly be estimating
- Basic knowledge of fabrication
- CAD experience
- Must read prints
- Take-off experience helpful
- Must be able to use a tape measure accurately
- Basic math skills
- May be required to visit job sites
