Our client, a nationwide manufacturer of scientific and life sciences equipment, has an immediate need for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager, to join our winning team in Plainview.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Analyze data thoroughly to determine areas for growth.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the production process.
- Focus on company objectives in order to maximize the profitability of the organization.
- Provide training to individuals who handle the product.
- Determine if the product goes through auditing and testing & participate in product testing as needed.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, local and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
- Create timely reports and documentation to track progress.
- Identify the training requirements to meet the quality standards, and train team accordingly.
- Manage internal audits including documentation and all quality assurance activities.
- Prepare and successfully run the yearly external ISO 9001:2015 , ISO 13485, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 audit process.
- Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; facilitates solutions to these issues.
- Reviews client, customer, and user feedback
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Interpersonal and Customer Service Skills
- Having relevant experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing
- Ample experience in implementing corrective/preventive measures.
- Quality assurance knowledge of tools and methodologies
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field for QA or Engineering
- Certification programs in Six Sigma, Quality Improvement associate, quality auditor, or quality Engineer
- 5 plus years of experience in related field
- Expertise in ISO9001 and ISO 13485, ISO 14001, FDA Compliance
