Our client, a nationwide manufacturer of scientific and life sciences equipment, has an immediate need for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager, to join our winning team in Plainview.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Analyze data thoroughly to determine areas for growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the production process.
  • Focus on company objectives in order to maximize the profitability of the organization.
  • Provide training to individuals who handle the product.
  • Determine if the product goes through auditing and testing & participate in product testing as needed.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, local and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
  • Create timely reports and documentation to track progress.
  • Identify the training requirements to meet the quality standards, and train team accordingly.
  • Manage internal audits including documentation and all quality assurance activities.
  • Prepare and successfully run the yearly external ISO 9001:2015 , ISO 13485, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 audit process.
  • Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; facilitates solutions to these issues.
  • Reviews client, customer, and user feedback

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Customer Service Skills
  • Having relevant experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing
  • Ample experience in implementing corrective/preventive measures.
  • Quality assurance knowledge of tools and methodologies
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field for QA or Engineering
  • Certification programs in Six Sigma, Quality Improvement associate, quality auditor, or quality Engineer
  • 5 plus years of experience in related field
  • Expertise in ISO9001 and ISO 13485, ISO 14001, FDA Compliance
